The stationary metal switchgear of the XGN2-12 series (hereinafter referred to as the “cabinet”) is intended for use in three-phase AC electrical networks with a voltage of 3.6; 7.2; 12 kV, frequency 50 (60) Hz for receiving and distributing electricity. The device is suitable for places with frequent switching operations. The busbar system is single (it is possible to design it with a single busbar system with bypass and with a double busbar system). This cabinet complies with the requirements of the national standard GB3906-91 “Complete AC switchgear for voltages from 3 to 35 kV”, as well as the requirements of the international standard IEC298, and is equipped with a “five-protection” interlock that meets the requirements of two ministries.
The main switch in this cabinet is a ZN28-12 series vacuum circuit breaker with a CD17 series electromagnetic drive or a CT19 series spring drive. The disconnector used is a rotary disconnector GN30-12 or a series of high-current disconnectors GN22-12.
