SCB series dry-type transformers with epoxy insulation 10 kV are manufactured by vacuum casting with epoxy resin. They are especially suitable for use in urban electrical networks, high-rise buildings, hospitals, airports, subways, tunnels and other places with increased safety and environmental requirements. Transformers of this series are oil-free, have low losses and high reliability, representing an ideal solution for the modernization of distribution systems. Products of various energy efficiency classes are available for the customer's choice.
Key Product Features
Oil-free insulation eliminates the risk of fire and explosion and allows distributed installation near load centers, which saves on laying lines.
Housing protection degree IP20 or IP23. The IP23 housing provides protection against dust and against water droplets falling at an angle of up to 60°, making it suitable for outdoor use.
An intelligent temperature control and display system monitors the temperature of the hottest points of the windings in real time. When the permissible temperature is exceeded, an alarm and shutdown are automatically triggered with the possibility of forced start of air cooling.
High resistance to short-circuit currents and lightning surges, high ability to withstand short-term overloads, safe and reliable operation.
