
The low-voltage switchgear type MNS (hereinafter referred to as the “device”) was designed and manufactured on the basis of imported cabinets. Designed for use in alternating current systems with a frequency of 50 (60) Hz, rated operating voltage up to 660 V to control the generation, transmission, distribution, conversion of electricity and operation of electrical equipment.

Complies with the requirements of the national standard GB7251-1 “Low-voltage switchgear and control equipment”, the industry standard JB/T9661 “Low-voltage switchgear with withdrawable elements” and the international standard IEC439-1. This device allows you to assemble various options for frames and withdrawable blocks. The use of high-strength, flame-retardant engineering plastic components significantly improves safety and protective properties. Withdrawable blocks are characterized by small dimensions, high functionality, high interchangeability, ease of replacement and maintenance, as well as reliable contact.
The basic frame of the device has a combined design of C-shaped profiles. All structural elements of the frame are galvanized or made of steel sheets coated with aluminum zinc. The connection is made using self-tapping screws and hexagonal screws of strength class 8.8. To assemble a complete device, appropriate doors, panels, partitions, mounting brackets, as well as busbars, functional blocks and other components are added depending on the required layout. The dimensions of the components and compartments inside the device are made with a modular grid (module E = 25 mm). The degree of protection of the housing is IP3X – IP4X.
There are five standard sizes, each of which is a multiple of height 8E (200 mm):
8E/4: space 8E (200 mm) high accommodates 4 withdrawable units
8E/2: space 8E (200 mm) high accommodates 2 withdrawable units
8E: space 8E (200mm) high accommodates 1 withdrawable unit
16E: space 16E (400mm) high accommodates 1 withdrawable unit
24E: space 24E (600mm) high accommodates 1 withdrawable unit
The rated current of the block circuit is up to 400 A. Blocks of types 8E/4 and 8E/2 are made of flame-retardant plastic and aluminum profiles. All five types of withdrawable units can be installed in one cabinet, either uniformly or in a mixed configuration. The overall height of the functional block compartment is 72E (1800 mm).
