The American ZGS type complete transformer is a product widely used in power distribution systems. Unlike the European complete transformer, it is not a simple combination of a transformer and high-voltage and low-voltage cabinets, but is a complex electrical device developed on the basis of a transformer. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that the design of high-voltage load switches and ring switches is comprehensively simplified and placed together with the transformer in the same oil tank, due to which the dimensions are significantly reduced and the cost is correspondingly reduced. Another feature is the use of double safety protection, with fuse links having double sensitivity to current and temperature, which significantly increases the sensitivity and reliability of the protection.
The fully sealed and fully insulated American style transformer kit allows for quick and easy installation, eliminating the need for time-consuming maintenance. In power distribution systems, it is widely applied in industrial parks, residential areas, shopping malls, high-rise buildings and other places.
