This standard has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the following standards: GB/T12173-2008 “General purpose electrical equipment for general mines”, JB 8739-2015 “Explosion-proof high-voltage switchgear for the mining industry”, GB3836.1-2010 “Explosive environments. Part 1: General requirements for equipment”, GB3836.3-2010 “Explosive atmospheres. Part 3: Equipment with increased reliability protection “e” and others. The technical parameters and requirements of this standard are more specific, detailed and have greater practical applicability.
Scope of application
This standard establishes the designation of standard sizes, requirements, test methods, control rules and marking of high-voltage switchgears of general purpose mine type GKG.
This standard applies to the manufacture and inspection of high-voltage switchgears of general mine design, general purpose type GKG (hereinafter referred to as “switchgears”), intended for use in coal mines without explosive gas and coal dust environments, as well as in non-coal mines and other similar underground industrial enterprises.
